THE PROBLEM

Three of Careers360’s highest-traffic surfaces — Review pages, College Listing pages, and site-wide Search — were running on legacy stacks that limited SEO performance, slowed feature delivery, and fragmented the user experience. Each had to be rebuilt and re-shipped without interrupting a live product serving millions of students.

THE APPROACH

I ran all three migrations as the product owner: mapped every legacy URL and template, defined redirect and canonical strategy with the SEO team, wrote the Jira story sets for engineering, and coordinated QA, design, and content through phased rollouts.

Each migration shipped behind a staged cutover — old and new surfaces compared on traffic, indexing, and engagement before full switchover — while regular product enhancements continued in parallel.

THE OUTCOME

All three surfaces migrated with zero downtime and preserved search equity. The rebuilt pages became the foundation for the AI features that followed — including AI-generated FAQs across product pages — and ongoing enhancement velocity increased because the new stack removed the legacy constraints.
